Invaders launch missile strike on Chernihiv region overnight
Russian invaders launched a missile strike on the Chernihiv region overnight on December 31.
Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on the messaging app Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Today at night, the enemy launched a missile strike on the Chernihiv region. The Rashists targeted a military town. According to preliminary information, it was an Iskander ballistic missile. [...] Fortunately, there are no casualties," Chaus said.
According to him, in recent days, the intensity of shelling of the Chernihiv region has increased, with the Russian army using artillery, mortars and multiple rocket launchers.
On December 30, Russian troops shelled the town of Semenivka, Chernihiv region, killing one person.
