Danilov calls Russia's 'Christmas truce' a lie and hypocrisy
The Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov, has described Russia's call to cease fire and establish a Christmas truce as "lies and hypocrisy."
According to Ukrinform, Danilov said this on Twitter.
"How does a pack of petty kremlin devils relate to a Christian holiday? Who will believe scum that kills children, bombards maternity hospitals, tortures prisoners? A ceasefire? Lies and hypocrisy. We will bite you in the singing silence of the Ukrainian night," Danilov said.
Earlier, Russian propaganda media outlets reported that the president of the terrorist country, Vladimir Putin, allegedly ordered the introduction of a "ceasefire regime" from 12:00 on January 6 to 24:00 on January 7 along the entire line of contact between the parties in Ukraine.
Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, in turn, said that a "temporary truce" is possible for Russia after its withdrawal from the temporarily occupied territories, because Ukraine does not attack foreign territory and does not kill civilians, but only destroys invaders.
