Russian strike on Kherson fire station: One rescuer killed, four more injured

One rescuer was killed and four more were injured in Russian shelling of a fire station in Kherson.

Yaroslav Yanushevych, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"One rescuer was killed, four more were injured. One firefighter is in serious condition, three are in moderate condition. They were taken to the hospital, where doctors are providing them with the necessary assistance," he wrote.

Yanushevych added that Russian troops struck a residential building next to the fire station. Despite the fact that the rescuers themselves came under attack, they immediately set out to extinguish the fire.

As reported by Ukrinform, on January 6, the enemy again struck a fire station in Kherson.
