Russian troops shell Kurakhove and Kramatorsk, one person injured

One person was injured, residential buildings and a hospital were damaged as Russian invaders shelled Kurakhove and Kramatorsk in Donetsk region on the morning of January 5.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk regional military administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The day in Kurakhove began with enemy artillery fire. The Russians shelled the city center, targeting two apartment buildings and a private house. A local hospital’s department was also damaged - according to preliminary information, one person was injured there," the region’s governor wrote and published relevant photos.

According to Kyrylenko, this is not the first time Kurakhove has suffered such an attack.

In turn, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, wrote on Telegram that Russian troops launched two missile attacks on the city of Kramatorsk in Donetsk region.

"Kramatorsk. The occupiers hit the city with missiles twice. A private residential building was hit," he said.

According to Tymoshenko, no casualties have been reported. Emergency services are working on site.

As Ukrinform reported, on the night of January 3, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Kramatorsk, injuring one person and damaging 34 private houses, 8 apartment buildings.
