Ground Forces Commander Syrskyi meets with Bakhmut, Soledar defenders

Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi has met with the Ukrainian military, defending the Donetsk region’s Bakhmut and Soledar.

The relevant statement was made by the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, Syrskyi and the commanders of the Ukrainian units, defending Bakhmut and Soledar, discussed the current situation on the battlefield.

The commander of the Ground Forces provided practical recommendations and determined further actions intended to strengthen Ukraine’s defensive capacity.

A reminder that, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the most challenging situation is now in the Donetsk region’s Bakhmut and Soledar. Ukrainian forces are transferring additional units to strengthen the defense there.
