Russian strike on Kherson: Enemy shell killed and injured people near a supermarket

One person was killed and another one was injured as a result of Russian shelling of Kherson city on January 9.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, according to Ukrinform.

"A pre-trial investigation has been launched as part of criminal proceedings on the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder," the report says.

On January 9, around 12:55, the Russian invaders once again shelled the city of Kherson. An enemy shell exploded near a supermarket where a man was walking. He died on the spot from a blast injury.  Another woman was injured.

According to preliminary information, the enemy launched mortar strikes. Prosecutors together with police investigators carry out necessary investigative actions.

According to the Telegram channel of Yaroslav Yanushevych, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, on January 9, a residential quarter of the city came under enemy artillery fire again. One person was killed, another one was injured.
