Russian troops again hit border areas of Sumy, Chernihiv regions

On January 10, the Russian troops once again struck the border territories of Sumy and Chernihiv regions, northern Ukraine. A total of 42 strikes were recorded.

"The enemy army continues firing mortars and artillery at the border settlements of Chernihiv and Sumy regions," the Operational Command "North" posted on Telegram.

From 11:50 to 12:45, 21 strikes were recorded, presumably launched from a 120mm mortar, in the area of Senkivka settlement. No military personnel or civilian casualties were reported. Military equipment and civilian infrastructure were not damaged.

From 14:15 to 14:25, 21 strikes were recorded, presumably launched from tube artillery, in the area of Kucherivka settlement. No military personnel or civilian casualties were reported. Military equipment and civilian infrastructure were not damaged.

On January 9, the commander of the troops of the operational command “North”, Major General Viktor Nikoliuk, checked the situation on Russia–Ukraine border in Chernihiv region.
