United24 platform raises more than UAH 10B for Ukraine - Zelensky

The total amount of charitable contributions raised through the fundraising platform United24 reached more than UAH 10 billion.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in his video address to the nation, Ukrinform reports.

“Today we also opened a new direction in our state charity platform United24,” he said.

According to Zelensky, in particular, funds will be used for property restoration for Ukrainians in the territories affected by Russian strikes and occupation.

“As of this day, about half a billion hryvnias have already been raised through United24 from people from more than a hundred countries to restore housing. This is a tangible help to both local communities and the state. In general, more than 10 billion hryvnias have already been raised due to the state fundraising platform,” the President said.

He thanked everyone who joined the United24 fundraising.

As reported, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and a government team visited the town of Irpin in Kyiv region on January 12. It is from here the government launches the first reconstruction projects within the United24 platform. As many as 18 residential buildings will be restored in Irpin, Borodianka, Hostomel, and the villages of Buzove and Myla.
