Zelensky presents awards to 278 soldiers, 16 of them posthumously
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has presented state awards to 278 defenders of Ukraine, 16 of them posthumously.
According to Ukrinform, the respective decrees have been published on the website of the head of state.
According to Decree No. 20/2023, 111 defenders were awarded for their personal courage and self-sacrifice shown in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, 11 of them posthumously. They received the orders "For Courage", medals "For Military Service to Ukraine", "To a Defender of the Homeland" and "For a Saved Life".
According to Decree No. 21/2023, 106 military personnel received state awards, four of them posthumously. They were awarded the orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi and Danylo Halytskyi, the order "For Courage", the medals "For Military Service to Ukraine", "To a Defender of the Homeland" and "For a Saved Life".
According to Decree No. 22/2023, the head of state presented awards to 61 defenders, including one posthumously. They were awarded the orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi and Danylo Halytskyi, the order "For Courage", the medals "For Military Service to Ukraine", "To a Defender of the Homeland" and "For a Saved Life".
