Russian strike on apartment block in Dnipro: Number of injured rises to 39

In Dnipro, the number of those injured as a result of Russian strike on a multi-storey residential building has increased to 39 people, seven of them are children.

Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Ukrainian President's Office, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"A Russian missile launched on Dnipro today injured seven children. The youngest is three years old. All the children are in the hospital. The 9-year-old girl is in serious condition. In total, 39 people have been injured. Five lives were cut short by the Russians... Punishment for these crimes is inevitable," he wrote.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian forces struck an apartment block in Dnipro. One entrance was destroyed. People were trapped under rubble.
