Nineteen people reported killed in Russia’s missile attack on Dnipro
The death toll in Russia’s missile strike on an apartment block in the city of Dnipro, which took place on January 14, 2023, has increased to 19 people.
The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Head Mykola Lukashuk on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Casualties: 19 persons killed, including a child; 73 injured, including 14 children; 38 rescued, including six children; 37 reports on missing persons; 33 listed as missing,” the report states.

Seventy-two apartments were destroyed and over 230 damaged in the apartment block, where two sections, from floor 2 to floor 9, were smashed by a Russian missile.
About 3,450 tonnes of the structures destroyed and 39 cars damaged were removed from the scene.
Psychologists are working with people. Volunteers are helping those affected to warm and provide meals.
