18 killed, 34 injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine over past day
On January 15, 2023, a total of 18 civilians were killed and 34 injured in Russian attacks on the territory of Ukraine.
The relevant statement was made by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to the data from regional military administrations, 15 civilians were killed and two injured (recovered from under the rubble of the apartment block destroyed in Russia’s missile attack on Dnipro on January 14, 2023) in the Dnipropetrovsk region, seven injured in the Donetsk region, nine injured in the Zaporizhzhia region, two injured in the Kharkiv region, three killed and 14 injured in the Kherson region.
A reminder that, on January 14, 2023, a 9-storey apartment block was struck by a Russian missile in the city of Dnipro. Two sections, from floor 2 to floor 9, were smashed. Thirty-six people were reported killed, including two children. Search and rescue works continue.
