President of the European Council on his way to Kyiv

President of the European Council Charles Michel is leaving for Ukraine’s capital to meet with the Ukrainian leadership.

The relevant statement was made by President of the European Council Charles Michel on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In Kyiv, Michel will meet again with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the Prime Minister and Members of Parliament.

According to Michel, Ukraine continues to fight for its sovereignty and independence, as well as common European values, peace and security in Europe.

“They [Ukrainians – Ed.] need and deserve our support,” Michel stressed.

A reminder that President of the European Council Charles Michel expressed support for the delivery of tanks to Ukraine.
