Delay in providing weapons to Ukraine only encourages Putin - Linkevičius

The delay in providing Ukraine with the weapons required for the liberation of its territories from the invaders only encourages the aggressor to continue the war.

This belief was expressed on Twitter by former Minister of Defense and ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Linas Linkevičius, Ukrinform reports.

" Those who say they are trying to avoid WWIII are actually doing the exact opposite, delaying vital and much needed decisions to allow #Ukraine to liberate its territory and end the war. Hesitation, indecision only encourages the aggressor," Linkevičius wrote, completing his tweet with hashtag #FreeLeopards, hinting at the need to send Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.

As reported by Ukrinform, the foreign ministers of Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania emphasized Germany's special responsibility for restoring peace in Europe, and called on Berlin to provide Leopard tanks to Ukraine as soon as possible.
