Nikopol district struck with heavy artillery three times last night
Last night Russian troops struck the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Nikopol district with heavy artillery three times. Significant destructions were reported in the city of Marhanets.
The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Valentyn Reznichenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Terror against the Nikopol district does not stop. Last night Russians struck the district with heavy artillery three times. The Marhanets community came under enemy fire. Over 30 enemy projectiles hit its cities and villages,” Reznichenko wrote.
According to the preliminary data, civilians remained unharmed.
The city of Marhanets suffered the most. A lyceum, industrial enterprise, water pumping facility and administrative building were seriously damaged there.
A power transmission line was hit in the neighboring village. About 500 households were left without electricity. Repair crews are already working at the scene.
