Man injured in Russian shelling of Kharkiv region
On January 21, a 46-year-old civilian was injured in the village of Veterynarne, Kharkiv region, as a result of Russian shelling.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
“The enemy continues to shell the civilian population of border towns and villages of the Kupiansk, Chuhuiv and Kharkiv districts of the region. Over the past day, attacks on Kupiansk, Vovchansk, Dvorichna, Veterynarne and other settlements of Kharkiv region were recorded... a 46-year-old civilian man was hospitalized," the report says.
In Kupiansk, according to the regional administration, a milk cannery plant and two private houses were damaged. Private buildings were destroyed in Vovchansk.
Syniehubov noted that humanitarian mine clearance is ongoing in the region. Over the past day, pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service neutralized 14 explosive devices. However, civilians continue to suffer from land mines and unexploded ammunition - two men, aged 49 and 50, stepped on an unknown explosive device in the village of Kamianka, Izium district. They were hospitalized in moderate condition.
As reported, on January 21, the Air Force of Ukraine launched 14 strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian troops, as well as three attacks on the positions of enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
