Zaluzhnyi, Milley discuss new US aid package for Ukraine

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi and Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley have discussed a new military aid package for Ukraine.

Zaluzhnyi reported this on his Telegram channel on January 25, according to Ukrinform.

"I maintain a constant dialogue with General Mark Milley, Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff. During today's phone call, we discussed the announced package of military aid to Ukraine and mutual steps for the earliest possible acceptance of new models of equipment into service," he wrote.

Zaluzhnyi also thanked General Milley for his powerful support and leadership.

"We are focused only on Victory," Zaluzhnyi added.

On January 25, U.S. President Joe Biden officially announced the delivery of 31 U.S.-made M1 Abrams tanks and other equipment to Ukraine.
