Austria has donated 33 gasoline generators to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The agency's press service said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"Thirty-three gasoline generators for Ukrainian rescuers have recently arrived from Austria. The equipment, worth a total of 91,000 euros, was handed over by the Austrian Interior Ministry's department of crisis situations, disaster management and civil protection thanks to the EU Civil Protection Mechanism," the post read.
It added that 9 to 80 kW generators would be used to power "points of invincibility" -- heated tents where people can charge their phones, warm up or get internet access -- and to provide electricity to entire buildings.
