Russians hit Nikopol district at night

At night, Russian troops again shelled Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region.

"Nikopol district had another restless night, the artillery strike alert lasted almost 12 hours. The occupiers attacked Myrove community several times in a row with MLRS, firing half a hundred shells at it," Mykola Lukashuk, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, posted on Telegram.

According to Lukashuk, a store, a bakery, and a beauty salon were damaged as a result of the shelling. Dozens of residential buildings and outbuildings, gas pipelines, and power lines were also hit.

According to preliminary data, civilians were not injured. The inspection of the territories that came under shelling is ongoing.

As a reminder, the day before, the Russian troops launched 44 airstrikes, including 18 with the use of Shahed-136 UAVs. All kamikaze drones were shot down by the air defense units.
