Loud blast rocks Mariupol, city left without electricity
This morning a loud blast has rocked the temporarily occupied city of Mariupol. Most areas of the city were left without electricity.
The relevant statement was made by Advisor to Mariupol Mayor Petro Andriushchenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“After the explosion, power supply services were interrupted in most areas of the city. Additionally, there is no power across many villages of the seaside part of the Mariupol district,” Andriushchenko wrote.
In his words, the explosion occurred in the Kalmiuskyi district, “on the border of Azovmash/Illich Works”.
Later, Andriushchenko added that the city of Mariupol and the Mariupol district were left without electricity and water services. There are also significant issues with mobile connection and Internet.
