Man injured in enemy shelling of Kharkiv region’s Kupiansk

On January 29, Russian troops shelled border areas of Kharkiv region, a 41-year-old man was injured in Kupiansk.

Oleh Synehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"During the past day, the enemy shelled border settlements in the Kupiansk, Chuhuiv and Kharkiv districts of the region. Kupiansk, Vovchansk, Strelecha, Dvorichna and other towns and villages came under enemy fire. Private houses, shops, and commercial buildings were damaged," the report says.

According to the Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care, a 41-year-old man was injured in Kupiansk as a result of enemy strikes. His condition is moderate.

"Yesterday around 23:00, the enemy launched another missile attack on Kharkiv. According to preliminary information, an S-300 system was used. The missile hit a 4-story residential building in the Kyivskyi district. The upper floors and the roof of the building were destroyed, and a large-scale fire broke out," Syniehubov said.

An elderly woman was killed. Three more residents of the house were injured.

At 03:20, the fire was extinguished. Rescue operations are ongoing.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of January 30, Russian invaders targeted a residential building in the center of Kharkiv.
