France, Australia to jointly produce artillery shells for Ukraine

France and Australia will cooperate within the framework of a multi-million dollar project on the production of 155-mm artillery shells for Ukraine.

This is according to a joint statement following France and Australia’s Second Ministerial Consultations on Foreign Affairs and Defense, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform saw.

In addition, France and Australia expressed their shared commitment to Ukraine’s security and determination to continue supporting Ukraine, also calling on the Russian aggressor to withdraw from Ukraine immediately.

"The Armed Forces are grateful for Australia and France’s support and assistance," the General Staff added.

As reported by Ukrinform, Poland launched a large-scale repair operation to restore damaged Ukrainian artillery and armored vehicles and return them to the battlefield.
