Border guards stop assault, knock invaders out of Bakhmut suburbs
The border guards stopped the assault of the Russian invaders and knocked them out of Bakhmut suburbs in Donetsk region.
"Yesterday, aerial reconnaissance detected the enemy's preparations for an assault on Bakhmut. Mortar crews launched a fire attack on an occupiers’ cluster. Having suffered losses, the enemy regrouped for an attack," the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine posted on Telegram.
Subsequently, three groups of stormtroopers tried to break through the defense lines.
The border guards opened fire from automatic grenade launchers and mounted grenade launchers and forced the invaders to retreat.
The assault attempt failed, the invaders lost 4 soldiers killed and 7 wounded.
As reported, the border guards stopped a Russian assault in Sivershchyna direction.
