Sumy region’s border settlements come under enemy mortar shelling

The Russian army again fired mortars at border settlements of Sumy region on Sunday, February 5.

The Operational Command North said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

From 06:30 to 06:35, there were three “hits”, presumably from a 120mm mortar, in the settlement of Novovasylivka.

From 13:00 to 13:05, there were four "hits", presumably from a 120mm mortar, in Seredyna-Buda settlement.

There were no losses among the military personnel and equipment. There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure.

As reported by Ukrinform, according to the regional military administration, the enemy shelled the Bilopillia, Nova Sloboda, Velyka Pysarivska communities in Sumy region on February 4, 26 strikes were recorded.
