Ukraine will not use Western weapons for strikes on Russian territory - Reznikov

Ukraine will not use the weapons provided by its Western partners for strikes on Russian territory.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov said this at a press conference on Sunday, February 5, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"We always emphasize to our Western partners that we will not use Western weapons [to launch strikes] on the territory of the Russian Federation," he said.

He noted that Ukraine primarily needs weapons for self-defense.

At the same time, Reznikov said that the Ukrainian Defense Ministry had identified several hundred important strategic military targets, including warehouses and enemy command posts, in the temporarily captured territories.
