Situation in Bakhmut, intelligence: Zelensky holds meeting of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Staff
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has chaired another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
That's according to the press service of the head of state, Ukrinform reports.
"Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on Monday. The leadership of the Armed Forces and the commanders of troops of operational areas reported on the current situation at the front. The members of the Staff paid special attention to the positions of the Defense Forces in the Bakhmut area and to providing them with the necessary weapons and ammunition," the report said.
It added that the participants in the meeting had also heard information from intelligence about possible actions of the enemy in the near future.
In addition, the participants in the meeting considered the issue of candidates for appointment to the posts of heads of regional military administrations in a number of regions.
The meeting was attended by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Chief of the Main Directorate of Intelligence Kyrylo Budanov, and commanders of military branches and operational areas.
Government members and heads of law enforcement and security agencies also joined the meeting.
