In Ukraine, 337 children are considered missing due to the Russian armed aggression.
The press service of the Ombudsman's Office said this in a Facebook post, referring to the ‘Children of War’ state portal for finding missing children, Ukrinform reports.
"As of February 8, 2022: 337 children are considered missing, 16,168 – deported, 9,578 – found, 173 – returned,” the Ombudsman's Office said.
As reported, Yulia Usenko, head of the Department for Protection of Children's Interests and Counteraction to Violence of the Prosecutor General's Office, said in a comment to Ukrinform that Ukraine returned 128 children, who were deported by the Russian Federation.
