Energy, industrial infrastructure damaged in Russia's massive attack on Zaporizhzhia
Energy and industrial infrastructure facilities were damaged in different parts of Zaporizhzhia this morning due to multiple missile strikes.
Anatolii Kurtiev, Acting Mayor of Zaporizhzhia, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"As a result of massive morning rocket attacks in different districts of Zaporizhzhia, energy and industrial infrastructure facilities were damaged. Roofs, windows, warehouses, facades, fences were damaged at the facilities. In addition, fires broke out at the sites of some of the hits," he wrote.
None of the people were injured, he added.
As for the civilian infrastructure, it is currently known that the blast wave broke windows in a multi-story apartment building, as well as in the premises of an educational institution and a cultural facility.
Earlier reports said that the enemy had fired 17 missiles at Zaporizhzhia. This is Russia's largest attack on the regional center since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began.
