Ukraine’s Air Force destroyed 61 out of 71 enemy missiles on Friday
On February 10, 2023, Russia launched another massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure. As of 11:30 a.m., the Ukrainian military destroyed 61 out of 71 enemy cruise missiles.
The relevant statement was made by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The enemy attacked from the air with Tu-95ms strategic bombers, which fired Kh-101 and Kh-555 missiles from the Caspian Sea and Volgodonsk. Kalibr-type sea-launched cruise missiles were fired from warships in the Black Sea,” the report states.
As of 11:30 a.m., Russian troops fired seventy-one Kh-101, Kh-555 and Kalibr-type cruise missiles (including those fired at night).
The anti-aircraft defense units of Ukraine’s Air Force and other units of the Defense Forces destroyed 61 enemy cruise missiles and five Shahed-136/131 suicide drones.
