Casualties as Russian missile hits apartment block in Pokrovsk
In Donetsk region, Russian troops struck Pokrovsk, as a result of which a high-rise residential building was damaged and at least two civilians were injured. Two people were rescued from under the rubble. The rescue operation is ongoing.
That’s according to the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, who reported the news on Telegram, posting photos of the destruction.
"Russians attacked Pokrovsk, damaging an apartment block and injuring at least two civilians. According to tentative reports, the enemy employed missiles, again. Rescuers managed to save two people from the rubble," Kyrylenko wrote.
He noted that the rescue operation is currently underway.
As reported, the Donetsk region remains under constant shelling by Russian forces as the enemy keeps killing and injuring civilians on a daily basis. On February 14, Russian invaders killed another resident of Donetsk region, also wounding one.
