Most drones, missiles Russia launched at Ukraine overnight Thursday downed - Yermak

In the early hours of Thursday, February 16, the Russians launched at Ukraine a barrage of drones and missiles, most of which were destroyed by the country’s air defenses.

The head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Another Russian missile strike. UAVs and missiles were launched overnight. Unfortunately, there are some hits in the northern and western parts of Ukraine, as well as in Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions. The Russians have somewhat changed their tactics. They first run active reconnaissance and employ decoy targets. Still, our anti-aircraft defenses dealt with the majority of enemy missiles and UAVs," he said.
