Russians shell residential buildings in Sumy region: almost 70 explosions in a day
On February 16, 69 explosions were recorded in Sumy region as a result of Russian shelling.
According to the Sumy Regional State Administration, Russian terrorists shelled seven territorial communities: Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Khotin, Nova Sloboda, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, and Shalyhyne.
In the Velyka Pysarivka community, from 09:50, Russians fired mortars – 10 explosions were recorded. The Esman community: two mortar attacks were recorded - 11 explosions in total. The Khotin community came under enemy artillery shelling - 9 explosions.
"The Nova Sloboda community was shelled with mortars. At 13:20 - 10 explosions, at 17:20 - 8 explosions. As a result of the attacks at 17:20, four residential buildings and adjacent commercial buildings were damaged in the village of Boiaro-Lezhachi. The Bilopillia community also came under mortar attacks - 7 explosions,” the regional administration said.
At 14:05, Russians dropped an explosive (VOG type) from a UAV on the Krasnopillia community. In addition, invaders dropped six mines on the Shalyhyne community.
In all cases, there were no casualties. In total, 69 explosions were recorded.
