Two Russian missile carriers on combat duty in Black Sea

Nine Russian warships are remaining on combat duty in the Black Sea, including two missile carriers equipped with eight Kalibr-type cruise missiles.

The relevant statement was made by the South Operational Command on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In the Black Sea, the enemy’s naval group consists of nine warships, including one missile submarine and one missile ship. During the morning missile attack, rashists fired four Kalibr-type missiles, and two of them were shot down by our anti-aircraft defense units. Hence, the total volley is eight missiles now,” the report states.

A reminder that, on February 18, 2023, two Russian missiles hit the city of Khmelnytskyi. One enemy projectile struck a military facility, and the other landed nearby. Residential buildings, shops and a café were reported damaged.
