Kostin: Mass deportations of Ukrainians are evidence of genocide committed by Russia

Mass forced deportation of Ukrainians from temporarily occupied territories is evidence of genocide committed by Russia.

"If we talk about genocide in Ukraine, then we must also talk about the forced deportation of Ukrainian adults and children. Forced displacement is an obvious proof of genocide," Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin said, Ukrinform reports with reference to ntv.

He emphasized that Moscow constantly talked about the need for "so-called de-Ukrainization" in the context of the war against Ukraine.

"When such messages come from high-ranking politicians of the aggressor state, it is not only about war propaganda but about an open call to commit mass crimes," the Prosecutor General said.
