The situation on Ukraine's border with Belarus remains fully under control.

Andrii Demchenko, a spokesperson for Ukraine's State Border Guard Service, said this live on Ukrainian television, Ukrinform reports.

"The situation on the border with Belarus remains fully under control. Of course, significant attention is paid to this area, because there are Russian units there, on Belarusian territory. However, at this time, we do not see any strike group that could invade Ukrainian territory. Our intelligence units monitoring the situation also do not record anything. Russian forces stationed there are mostly at training grounds where joint exercises are ongoing or where their training actually takes place," Demchenko said.

However, according to him, the enemy cannot be underestimated, and this direction can also become active at any moment.

Demchenko added that Ukrainian border guards are preparing for any scenario and the Ukrainian border continues to be strengthened.
