War update: In Southern Operational Zone, Ukraine Army completes 160 fire missions

Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s Defense Forces of Ukraine in the southern areas completed 160 firing missions, having eliminated 13 invaders and destroyed a Grad multiple rocket launch system on the Kinburn spit.

That’s according to the press service of Operational Command South, Ukrinform reports.

On the left bank of the Dnipro River, the Ukrainian forces also destroyed an S-300 anti-aircraft system’s missile launcher, the report reads.

As noted, a Russian ammunition depot in the area of Nova Kakhovka, two reconnaissance UAVs, two motor boats intended to be used by enemy subversive groups, an artillery radar system, a 120-mm mortar, and a number of trucks were destroyed over the past day.

The press service also recalled that the Russian military continues to shell peaceful settlements in Kherson region, including the regional center. Two civilians were killed and one was wounded as a result of shelling on Wednesday. The enemy is also trying to keep the water area of the Dnipro-Buh Estuary in the Ochakiv district under situational fire. The threat of missile strikes remains quite high, the press service noted.

As reported by Ukrinform, today Russia keeps four warships off the Crimea coast, with no Kalibr cruise missile carriers among them.
