Invaders hit Sviatohirsk, one rescuer killed, four injured
Russian invaders shelled the city of Sviatohirsk in the Donetsk region last night, hitting a unit of the State Emergency Service. According to preliminary information, one rescuer was killed and four others injured in the attack.
According to Ukrinform, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, announced this on Facebook and published photos of the destruction.
"At night, the Russians shelled Sviatohirsk, hitting a unit of the State Emergency Service. According to preliminary information, one rescuer was killed and four others were injured. This is a conscious and cynical attack not on the military, but on those who help civilians survive even during active hostilities," he wrote, expressing his sincere condolences to the relatives of the deceased rescuer and wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
Commenting on the operational situation in other parts of the region, Kyrylenko said it remains constantly tense along the entire front line, as well as in the relative rear.
