Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to 149,890
The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 149,890 Russian troops in Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to March 1, 2023, including 650 soldiers over the past day alone.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.
The enemy’s total combat losses include also 3,395 tanks (+7 over the past day), 6,638 armored combat vehicles (+8), 2,393 artillery systems (+10), 479 multiple launch rocket systems (+1), 247 air defense systems, 300 warplanes, 288 helicopters, 5,257 motor vehicles (+5), 18 warships/cutters, 2,055 unmanned aerial vehicles (+4), 230 special equipment units. A total of 873 enemy cruise missiles were shot down.
The data is being verified, the General Staff noted.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force launched 11 strikes on enemy positions on February 28.
