Russians launched 240 strikes on Zaporizhzhia region over three days
The police have recorded 240 strikes launched by the Russian military on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past three days.
The relevant statement was made by Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Over 20 settlements in the Polohy and Vasylivka districts were targeted by the occupiers. Mostly, it was housing and civil infrastructure that had been affected. The Russian military used aircraft, artillery and multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) to destroy civilian houses,” the report states.
The police registered 45 reports on destructions.
The city of Huliaipole suffered the most. About 15 houses were damaged, as well as several apartments, garage premises and household buildings.
The city of Orikhiv also came under enemy fire. A local school and houses were damaged.
Additionally, Russian projectiles hit the area of a farm enterprise in the Stepnohirsk community’s village of Lukianivske. An administrative building, warehouse facilities and a fence were damaged.
A reminder that, on the night of March 2, 2023, Russian missiles struck an apartment block in the city of Zaporizhzhia. Four people were reported killed. Rescue works continue.
