Russians attack civilians receiving humanitarian aid in Kherson region with drones

Russian troops have attacked civilians, standing in a queue to receive humanitarian aid in the Kherson region’s Beryslav district, with drones. Nine people were injured, including a child.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to the investigative data, on March 2, 2023, in violation of international humanitarian law, Russian troops opened fire on the liberated areas of the Kherson region.

In the Beryslav district, according to the preliminary data, Russian invaders attacked civilians, who had been standing in a queue near a school to receive humanitarian aid, with drones.

“Nine civilians have been reported injured so far, including a child. They are being provided with professional medical aid. The data on casualties is yet to be checked,” the report states.

Additionally, civil infrastructure objects were damaged.

A reminder that, on March 2, 2023, Russian troops launched artillery strikes on the Kherson region’s Bilozerka. Two civilians were injured.
