Three more bodies retrieved at Russian strike site in Zaporizhzhia, bringing death toll to 10

The death toll of a Russian missile strike on an apartment block in Zaporizhzhia increased to 10. There is a child among the victims.

This was stated on Facebook by the State Emergency Service Office in Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrinform reports.

"As of 07:00 on March 4, rescuers retrieved from under the rubble three more bodies of its residents. In total, 10 bodies were extracted, including that of a child," the report reads.

In the course of two days, rescuers eliminated the aftermath of the Russian missile strike that hit an apartment building in Zaporizhizha.

More than 333 tonnes of construction debris was removed from the strike site. SES psychologists provided assistance to 92 residents and families of victims.

It was earlier reported that overnight Thursday, March 2, a Russian missile struck a residential building in Zaporizhzhia.

The Emergency Service team rescued 11 people from under the rubble of the destroyed building. Two pet animals were also rescued.

As of 07:00 on March 4, the consequences are ongoing.

In total, 109 operatives worked at the scene of the Russian strike, including 74 Emergency Service rescuers.
