Two people killed in Russian shelling of Nikopol district
On Saturday morning, the enemy struck Dnipropetrovsk region’s Nikopol district, killing two people.
Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"In the morning, the enemy struck Nikopol district several times. They fired heavy artillery and MLRS. Two people were killed in Chervonohryhorivka community - a 57-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man," the report says.
In addition, 8 private houses, 2 farm buildings, a power line and a gas pipeline were damaged.
In Nikopol, a hotel was damaged. The aftermath of the attacks are being clarified.
As reported by Ukrinform, Dnipropetrovsk region’s Marhanets community came under artillery shelling on the night of March 4.
