Russians shell three settlements in Sumy, Chernihiv regions
On March 4, Russian forces fired 35 mortar bombs and shells at border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions, three settlements came under enemy fire.
This was reported by the Operational Command North on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
From 11:00 to 11:40, on the outskirts of Vovkivka village, 20 strikes, presumably from self-propelled artillery systems, were recorded. Data on losses among the local population and damage to civilian infrastructure are being clarified.
From 11:10 to 11:50, 12 strikes, presumably from 120mm mortars, were recorded in the area of Tymonovychi village. From 12:15 to 12:25, three strikes, presumably from 120mm mortars, were recorded in the area of Kharkivka village. There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure.
According to the command, there were no losses among personnel or military equipment in any of the cases.
As reported by Ukrinform, on March 3, Russian invaders attacked six border communities in Sumy region, killing a local resident.
