Russian troops shell three districts in Kharkiv region

Russian troops shelled the settlements of the Kharkiv, Kupiansk and Chuhuiv districts in the Kharkiv region on Sunday, March 5.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"In the last day, Kupiansk, Strilecha, Ohirtseve, Dvorichna and other settlements of the Kharkiv, Kupiansk and Chuhuiv districts came under fire from the invaders," the post said.

In Kupiansk, a fire broke out after a transport infrastructure facility came under shelling. The enemy used tanks and self-propelled guns to attack the settlement of Dvorichna in the Kupiansk district.

"Near the village Budarky, Chuhuiv district, a Russian shell, likely an anti-tank guided missile, hit a civilian car Niva. The couple - a 48-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman – died," Syniehubov said.
