Russia keeps three missile carriers with 16 Kalibrs on board off Crimea coast
Three Russian missile carriers with 16 Kalibr cruise missiles on board are on standby in the Black Sea waters.
That’s according to Ukraine’s Naval Forces, Ukrinform reports.
"There are 15 enemy warships on combat duty in the Black Sea, including three carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of 16 missiles; there is another enemy warship in the Sea of Azov; and 10 enemy warships are on duty in the Mediterranean, five of them – Kalibr carriers with a total volley of 72 missiles," the statement reads.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the morning of March 6, the head of the joint press center of Ukraine’s Southern Defense Forces, Natalia Humeniuk, said four Russian missile carriers were on duty off the Crimea coast, with a total of 24 Kalibrs on board, warning that the deployment of such a number of carriers suggests the enemy's intentions to fire missiles off at Ukraine.
