Kuleba calls on ICC Prosecutor to investigate murder of Ukrainian POW by Russians

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba calls on Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court Karim Khan to immediately launch an investigation into the murder of a captured Ukrainian serviceman by the Russians.

“Horrific video of an unarmed Ukrainian POW executed by Russian forces merely for saying ‘Glory to Ukraine’. Another proof this war is genocidal. It is imperative that [Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court] Karim Khan launches an immediate ICC investigation into this heinous war crime. Perpetrators must face justice,” Kuleba posted on Twitter.

Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets sent a video of the execution of a captured Ukrainian serviceman by Russian invaders to the partner countries and fellow ombudsmen as an example of yet another Russian war crime.
