Missile attack on Ukraine: Zelensky holds meeting with law enforcers, government officials

President Volodymyr Zelensky has held a meeting with law enforcers and government officials regarding the recent Russian attack on Ukrainian infrastructure.

Zelensky wrote on Telegram that the NSDC, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Security Service, Ukroboronprom, General Staff, Main Intelligence Directorate, Foreign Intelligence Service and relevant government representatives were present at the meeting.

“Today's shelling attacked Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Kharkiv, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia regions and the city of Kyiv. I am grateful to our air defense forces for their hard work, for protecting our people!” Zelensky wrote.

The President stressed the importance of ensuring the protection of the energy infrastructure from enemy strikes, as well as the need for the rapid restoration of power supply in the affected areas.

“Despite thousands of Russian attacks, we will all together ensure the invincibility of Ukraine. We are working. We will win!” he wrote.

As reported, on the night and morning of March 9, Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 34 of the 48 Russian Kh-101/Kh-555 and Kalibr cruise missiles launched on March 9.
