Man injured as Russians shell Nikopol district

The Russian army struck Nikopol district’s Chervonohryhorivka community in Dnipropetrovsk region three times on March 9.

"During the day, the Russian occupation army struck Chervonohryhorivka community with heavy artillery three times. A 73-year-old man was injured. The victim was hospitalized. He is currently in the hospital in a stable condition," Mykola Lukashuk, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, wrote on Telegram.

According to him, the shelling destroyed a dozen private houses and three farm buildings in the community.

As reported, two people were killed and four more were injured in Russian shelling of Dnipropetrovsk region on the morning of March 9.

On the night and morning of March 9, Russian forces launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine.
