“NASAMS have proved to be an effective air defence system. Adding two more firing units will significantly improve Ukraine’s ability to protect its cities and critical infrastructure from Russian missile attacks,” the report says.

Norway will also train Ukrainian personnel in the maintenance and operation of the system.

As reported by Ukrinform, in response to Russia's war of aggression, Norway will provide Ukraine with assistance worth EUR 7.5 billion over the next five years, which will include military, economic and humanitarian aid.
