France in constant dialogue with Ukrainian Defense Ministry regarding military support - ambassador

France is in constant dialogue with the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense regarding military support for Ukraine.

This was stated by Ambassador of France to Ukraine Etienne de Poncins at the second France-Ukraine Forum, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to him, now the main challenge is ammunition. The Ambassador also highlighted the importance of delivering quality supplies.

“We are focused on providing a full arms package - ammunition, weapons and equipment as requested by Ukraine. We are in constant dialogue with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on this issue," the diplomat said.

As reported, on March 10, French President Emmanuel Macron appointed former EBRD Vice President for Policy and Partnerships Pierre Heilbronn as France’s special envoy for relief and reconstruction of Ukraine.
